Why use “Kaya Login Captcha”?
Kaya Login Captcha adds a simple captcha to selected WordPress forms to help protect them against automated requests and brute-force attempts.
The plugin is easy to install and configure. You can choose which forms to protect and customize the captcha to suit your needs.
Captcha statistics are available from the settings page, with passed and blocked requests displayed by year and month, along with the block rate.

Kaya Login Captcha is a lightweight captcha solution with customizable settings for WordPress login-related forms.
Privacy
Kaya Login Captcha does not collect or send personal user data to the plugin author or any third-party service.
The plugin does not set cookies and does not connect to external services.
To validate captcha requests, the plugin temporarily stores technical captcha request data on the WordPress site. This data includes a generated request identifier, the captcha code and the request timestamp.
Captcha statistics may also be stored on the WordPress site and contain aggregated counts of passed and blocked requests.

Installation
The quickest way:
- Go to Plugins > Add New in WordPress.
- Search for “Kaya Login Captcha”
- Click Install Now and then Activate.
The other way:
- Upload the
kaya-login-captchafolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.

How can I customize the captcha?

Go to Kaya Studio > Login Captcha in the WordPress administration area.
You can choose which forms should display the captcha:
- Login form.
- Lost-password form.
- Registration form.
You can also customize the captcha code length, code format and background lines.

Which captcha formats are available?

You can choose between three captcha formats:
- Numeric.
- Alphabetic.
- Alphanumeric.
You can also choose a captcha length of 3, 4 or 5 characters.

What happens when a captcha request is blocked?

You can configure the HTTP status returned when a captcha request is blocked.
The available options are:
- No change (HTTP 200).
- Unauthorized (HTTP 401).
- Forbidden (HTTP 403).

Can I disable the WordPress XML-RPC API?

Yes.
Go to Kaya Studio > Login Captcha and enable the option to disable the WordPress XML-RPC API.
Please note that some plugins may require XML-RPC, such as Jetpack.

Where can I view captcha statistics?

Captcha statistics are available on the Kaya Studio > Login Captcha settings page.
Statistics show the number of passed and blocked captcha requests by month and year, as well as the block rate.
