Multi-branch delivery
SnappBox supports multiple store branches. Each branch can have its own name, contact details, address, map location, block and unit information, and delivery coverage area.
To add or edit a branch:
- Open SnappBox Branches in the WordPress dashboard.
- Click Add branch, or choose Edit Branch for an existing branch.
- Enter the branch information and move the map pin to the exact location.
- Draw the branch’s delivery area on the map.
- Mark one branch as Default when it should be the main store address.
- Save the branch.
The first branch is automatically set as the default when no other branches exist. Branches can be edited or removed from the same management screen.
Delivery polygons
A polygon defines the geographic area served by a branch. SnappBox checks the customer’s latitude and longitude against branch polygons and can suggest the closest matching branch during checkout and order management.
To draw a polygon:
- Open the branch form and locate the map.
- Click Start Drawing Area.
- Add at least three points around the service area.
- Close the shape, review the boundary, and save the branch.
Coordinates are stored as longitude/latitude pairs and sent to the SnappBox API as WKT. Example:
POLYGON ((51.3174 35.6656, 51.3300 35.6656, 51.3300 35.6800, 51.3174 35.6656))
The first and last points should close the shape. Avoid self-intersecting boundaries and keep each polygon within the branch’s actual serviceable area.
Testing
- Create a test order and select SnappBox at checkout.
- Confirm that the checkout map and delivery address are correct.
- In WooCommerce Orders, verify the selected branch and SnappBox shipping method.
- Check the delivery status from the WordPress dashboard or the SnappBox mobile app.
