## Description

People Leads Integration seamlessly connects your WordPress site with the People
Leads Management System. Send form submissions from Elementor Pro and Contact Form
7 directly to People Leads, along with UTM parameters, click IDs, referrer data,
and tracking details. All submitted data is logged locally for review, ensuring
you have a complete record of your leads.

### External Services

This plugin connects to the People Leads API to send lead data and retrieve responses.
The API is used to integrate WordPress with the People Leads Lead Management System.

**What data is sent:**
 – Lead data (e.g., name, email, phone, comments). – UTM
parameters (if available). – Advertising click identifiers found in the visitor’s
URL: oppref and click_id (ChatGPT Ads), and fbclid, gclid, ttclid, msclkid, li_fat_id,
twclid and sccid (other ad platforms). – The address of the page the form was submitted
from. – The landing page address the visitor first arrived on. – The address of
the outside website the visitor arrived from, if any, and if “Enable Referrer Tracking”
is switched on. – Any token, key, secret, password, reset or email parameter is
stripped out of every address above before it is stored or sent, as are the UTM
parameters and click identifiers already listed, which travel in fields of their
own. – IP address and user agent of the user submitting the form.

**When data is sent:**
 – Data is sent when a form submission is processed through
the “Send to People Leads” action in Elementor Pro, or via the Contact Form 7 integration
hook.

**Service Provider:**
 – Leader API (https://app.weallleaders.co.il/index_api/leads)–
Terms of Service: https://app.weallleaders.co.il/uploads/Leader_Terms_of_Use.pdf–
Privacy Policy: https://weallleaders.co.il/policy

## Installation

 1. Upload the `leader-integration` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
 3. On first activation, the setup wizard will launch. Enter your Client ID, Integration
Token, Leader ID, and Service ID.
 4. In Elementor, create or edit a form and add the “Send to People Leads” action under“
    Actions After Submit”.

## FAQ

### Why doesn’t the “Send to People Leads” action appear in my form?

Ensure that your site is running a compatible version of Elementor Pro and that
you have added an Elementor form widget on a page. The custom action registers only
when the Elementor Forms module is loaded.

### Where can I view the leads that are submitted?

All leads are logged in a custom database table. You can view these logs by navigating
to the Lead Logs page under the People Leads Integration admin menu.

### Can I change my People Leads ID or Service ID later?

Yes, you can update these settings at any time via the plugin settings page in the
WordPress dashboard.

## Changelog

#### 2.5.0

 * Added: every lead now records the address of the page its form was submitted
from, in a field of its own. Previously the only page a lead carried was the
landing page — the page the visitor first arrived on — which for anyone who browsed
before filling in a form names a different page entirely, and reads like the
wrong page rather than a different question.
 * Changed: the landing page, referrer and advertising click id are sent as ordinary
fields on every site, not only on sites connected to the new CRM. They used to
be appended to the lead’s notes as a “[tracking: …]” line, which is what site
owners were reporting as junk in the notes field. The notes now carry what the
   visitor actually wrote.
 * Changed: where a visitor arrives carrying several advertising click ids at once—
they are each kept for 90 days, so an old one can sit beside today’s — one is
chosen by a fixed priority instead of whichever happened to be first, and anything
other than a ChatGPT Ads id is labelled with the platform it came from.
 * Changed: “Enable Referrer Tracking” now governs every path a referrer can take.
Set to No, a site was still sending it inside the notes.
 * Fixed: a visitor who arrived directly and then clicked a link on the site had
one of the site’s own pages recorded as the website that referred them. Only
a genuinely external referrer is stored now.
 * Fixed: UTM parameters and click ids are stripped from the stored landing page
address, so repeat visits to one page no longer look like visits to several different
   pages.
 * Security: an address offered by the browser is only accepted as one of your pages
when it actually belongs to your site.

#### 2.4.0

 * Captures the ChatGPT Ads click id (oppref / click_id) alongside the existing
   ad platform click IDs.
 * Sites connected to the CRM now send the click id and landing page as real fields
instead of appending them to the lead’s comments.
 * Other platforms’ click IDs are unchanged and still ride in comments.

#### 2.3.0

 * Added: “Send Leads To New CRM” setting. When enabled, leads post to the People
Leads CRM intake endpoint instead of the legacy one, which is what triggers the
WhatsApp auto-response and normalises phone numbers. Off by default — existing
sites are unaffected by this update until the setting is switched on.
 * Added: when the new CRM is enabled and a form does not collect a name, the lead
is sent with a placeholder (“ללא שם”) instead of being rejected. The legacy endpoint
accepted nameless leads; the CRM does not, so without this a name-less form would
silently lose every submission. Override with the `leader_integration_placeholder_name`
   filter.
 * Note: source and service lists are unchanged and still come from the existing
   bridge.
 * Fixed: the integration token is redacted before request headers are written to
   the local log.

#### 2.2.0

 * Added: Dynamic services dropdown in settings, fetched from the CRM API (like
   sources).
 * Added: Click IDs (fbclid, gclid, ttclid, msclkid, etc.) now sent as individual
   fields instead of JSON blob.
 * Added: Real visitor IP forwarded to CRM via `client_ip` field (previously logged
   WP server IP).
 * Added: Unique `external_id` generated per submission for CRM deduplication support.

#### 2.1.0

 * Security: Removed PHP object injection vector in log decoder.
 * Improved: API error responses are now parsed and structured for better diagnostics.
 * Improved: Site admins receive a throttled email notification when the API returns
   an error.
 * Added: Contact Form 7 per-form opt-out via `people_leads_enabled "no"` additional
   setting.
 * Refactored: Extracted shared field detection into `Leader_Field_Detector` utility.
 * Refactored: Extracted shared lead building, sending, and logging into `Leader_Lead_Builder`.
 * Refactored: Elementor and CF7 handlers now delegate to `Leader_Lead_Builder`,
   eliminating duplicated logic.

#### 2.0.0

 * Major rewrite with improved architecture and tracking.
 * Added UTM and click ID tracking via frontend cookies.
 * Added source dropdown fetched from the CRM API.
 * Added per-form source and service overrides for Elementor.
 * Added per-form field mapping (auto-detect or manual) for Elementor.
 * Added Contact Form 7 integration with additional settings support.
 * Added local submission logging with 30-day auto-cleanup.
 * Migrated settings keys for backward compatibility with v1.x.

#### 1.0.3

 * Added integration with Contact Form 7 plugin.

#### 1.0.2

 * Added ability to send Custom Leader and Service IDs per form.

#### 1.0.1

 * Fixed an issue where custom fields were not being sent to Leader.

#### 1.0.0

 * Initial release.
