Description
Know what to improve next, from one WordPress SEO workspace.
ZEISMO SEO brings page metadata, technical checks and Google Search Console reports together. Write a clearer search title, find pages that need attention, review structured data and choose what to change. You stay in control of saving and publishing.
Local tools in the WordPress.org edition work without a ZEISMO account or paid plan. Connect your own Google account for Search Console. Optional hosted AI tools use a separate ZEISMO account and service allowance.
Start with a clear overview
Review saved site checks, audit coverage and useful next steps. Open feature management to search available tools, filter by category and change supported settings. Local scores describe the checks performed; they are not Google rankings.
The five-step setup wizard lets you review site essentials, set your identity, choose six important features, optionally connect Google and review your saved choices. A visible English/Arabic switch keeps the wizard in your chosen language, with right-to-left layouts for Arabic.
Write and review on-page SEO
- Edit SEO titles, meta descriptions, focus phrases, canonical URLs and robots directives.
- Use search and social previews in supported WordPress editing workflows.
- Work with Gutenberg, the classic editor and Elementor document settings.
- Review content and readability checks, taxonomy metadata and image fields.
- Reuse title templates and review selected content edits before applying them.
Understand your Google search performance
Connect Google Search Console with read-only access and your own authorized property. Review clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, page and query details, saved history and URL inspection. No ZEISMO subscription or AI credits are needed for these reports.
Google determines data availability. Empty reports remain empty, and inspection describes Google’s recorded state rather than guaranteeing indexing.
Organize technical SEO
- Manage XML sitemaps, supported image/video/news/RSS sitemap output and content exclusions.
- Add supported structured data, reusable schema templates, author/reviewer information and business locations.
- Manage exact redirects and supported prefix/query rules; inspect recorded 404 requests.
- Run resumable site and link checks, then review broken links and possible orphan pages.
- Configure supported robots settings, verification tags, hreflang and native SEO blocks.
- Enable IndexNow notifications or scheduled link checks only when you choose.
Structured data must describe visible, accurate content. Search engines decide eligibility for rich results and may rewrite search snippets.
Change content with a review step
Preview supported metadata migrations from Yoast SEO, Rank Math and All in One SEO. Select the changes you want and review conflicts before applying. Supported settings and redirect imports, change history and selected checkpoints help you inspect and recover supported edits. These tools do not replace a full website backup.
Optional AI drafts, reviewed by you
ZEISMO’s hosted service can prepare eligible title/description drafts, image-aware alt text, schema drafts, briefs, rewrites, FAQs and summaries. Selected batch queues run one request at a time while the screen stays open. Review drafts before applying them; they are never automatically published.
ZEISMO Content Review combines measured writing facts with separately attributed AI suggestions. AI answer samples record a provider response to your prompt; they do not claim to reproduce live Google or ChatGPT search results.
Hosted tools require a connected ZEISMO account, an eligible plan and available usage. Higher plans provide additional hosted capabilities and allowances. Local WordPress.org tools remain available when an online allowance runs out. See the data disclosures below before connecting a service.

External services
Google Search Console
The connection screen includes a local verification field. Copy the HTML tag for your URL-prefix property from Google, paste the complete tag or code, and save. The plugin adds the verification meta tag to the homepage; clear page caches and click Verify in Google to complete ownership verification. Domain properties use DNS verification instead. Saving a tag requires WordPress administrator access but no Google connection or ZEISMO account.
ZEISMO SEO includes a Search Console connection screen. Each administrator connects their own Google account; no ZEISMO login, subscription or AI credits are required. Installation enrollment verifies a challenge response from the website over HTTPS before starting Google sign-in. The site and WordPress REST API must be publicly reachable. New connections are subject to service capacity and rate limits. It is not an available paid-plan benefit.
Only after an administrator consents, the plugin creates a random installation credential (not a user account), and ZEISMO receives the site URL, verifies the installation using a short-lived random challenge, and requests read-only Google Search Console authorization. Google tokens are encrypted on ZEISMO servers, never returned to WordPress. ZEISMO reads matching properties, search queries, page URLs, clicks, impressions, CTR and average position. Manual reports cover a selected finalized 7-, 28- or 90-day period, daily figures, and a summary for the preceding equal-length period, with a 15-minute refresh limit. Reports end three days before the current Pacific date. Missing dates or previous summaries remain unavailable, not fabricated as zero; CTR differences use percentage points. Local opportunity suggestions identify up to five same-site pages with at least 100 impressions, CTR below 2% and average position 1–10, ordered by impressions within the report’s first 25 page rows. These are review heuristics, not benchmarks or a complete site audit. Reports older than seven days must be refreshed before suggestions appear. Suggestions require no AI credits and never change page content. The ZEISMO connection service provides these reports. The latest report is retained on ZEISMO and this WordPress installation until replaced or disconnected; authorization remains until disconnected. The installation credential only isolates this site’s connection. No automatic scans, page edits or ZEISMO account creation occur. Disconnect deletes this site’s stored Google authorization and reports; revoke the Google-wide grant separately in Google account permissions.
Before uninstalling, use Disconnect to remove this site’s active connection and reports from ZEISMO. Deactivation or deletion of the plugin alone does not notify the service. Site backups may retain local copies. For assistance with deletion after losing site access, contact online@zeismo.com.

Local analysis runs on your WordPress site. The following optional features make network requests.
ZEISMO service
Account connections and optional AI features are provided by ZEISMO. Connect your ZEISMO account to use eligible AI features and manage your SEO plan. A ZEISMO CRM subscription is not required.
- Account creation happens only after an administrator enters a name, email and company, selects the consent box, and submits the form. Those values and the site URL are sent to ZEISMO so the account and connection token can be created.
- After an account is connected, eligible administrator visits may send the site URL, plugin version and a main-file fingerprint to refresh the licence and feature manifest. The result is cached for three hours.
- AI and performance requests happen only after an administrator presses the relevant button. The selected task, site URL and the page content or public URL needed for that task are sent to ZEISMO. ZEISMO returns the generated result and quota status.
- Opening plan controls may fetch the current plan catalogue. Pressing an upgrade button asks ZEISMO to create a checkout URL.
- The ZEISMO direct build checks ZEISMO for approved plugin updates. The WordPress.org build contains no ZEISMO updater and uses WordPress.org updates.
Technical service disclosure: the current plugin communicates with ZEISMO-operated HTTPS API endpoints on crm.zeismo.com for account connection, licensing and AI requests. This hostname identifies the service infrastructure, not a requirement to use the ZEISMO CRM product.
ZEISMO provides these services. Terms: https://zeismo.com/terms/ Privacy policy: https://zeismo.com/privacy/
IndexNow
IndexNow is an optional instant-indexing protocol. It is disabled by default in the WordPress.org build. After an administrator enables it, publishing or updating public content, or manually submitting the sitemap, sends the public page or sitemap URL, the site’s IndexNow verification key and the public key-file URL to https://api.indexnow.org/indexnow. Participating search engines use this information to discover the submitted URL. IndexNow terms and privacy provisions: https://www.indexnow.org/terms
Public URL checks
Broken-link checks and competitor comparisons start on an administrator request. Weekly broken-link checks can be enabled separately in Advanced tools; they use WordPress Cron and stop scheduling when disabled. The weekly option is off by default. They make ordinary HTTP requests to the public URLs the administrator asks the plugin to check. The destination server receives the requested URL and standard HTTP request information, including a ZEISMO SEO user agent and the server IP address. Each destination website’s own terms and privacy policy apply.
Stripe checkout
If an administrator chooses a paid ZEISMO plan, the browser is redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Payment details are entered directly on Stripe and are not collected by this plugin. Stripe terms: https://stripe.com/legal/consumer Privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy
The optional “Visitor pulse” counter contacts only the same WordPress site. It is disabled by default in the WordPress.org build and begins only after an administrator enables it. It stores aggregate counts in five-minute buckets for 24 hours, without cookies, visitor profiles, raw IP addresses or external transmission.
Additional tools and data processing
The plugin includes a Gutenberg sidebar and Elementor document panel, supporting focus phrases, previews, taxonomy SEO, custom schema and templates, author/reviewer profiles, business locations, image/video/news/RSS sitemaps, native SEO blocks, resumable link checks, reviewed content edits, prefix/query redirects, selected checkpoints, roles, multisite controls and authenticated SEO REST routes. See docs/UPGRADE-1.2.txt for the exact supported scope and limits.
ZEISMO Content Review is our own hosted editorial service, available from Scale when the matching service is enabled. It measures literal topic coverage and writing facts, then uses Anthropic Claude to draft suggestions. It does not connect to SEOBoost, Semrush or another competitor SEO platform. It has no search-volume database, competitor SERP corpus or guaranteed ranking score.
After an administrator explicitly authorizes a request, ZEISMO sends up to 10,000 characters of selected saved page text, a bounded title, focus phrase, headings and the supplied topic/audience/purpose brief to its AI provider. Vision tasks send a locally resized JPEG (maximum 768 pixels on each side and 384 KB), re-encoded by the WordPress image editor, plus bounded context. AI answer samples send the administrator’s exact prompt and brand. The selected task and current site/account identify authorization and usage. A successful new hosted task costs one credit; provider failure does not incur a credit charge. Network uncertainty requires checking usage before another request.
AI suggestions use Anthropic through ZEISMO, not a customer API key. Anthropic terms: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/commercial-terms Privacy: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy
Draft queues process at most 50 selected records, one request at a time, only after the administrator starts the queue. Closing the page stops subsequent requests; an in-flight request may finish. Drafts are never automatically published. The latest ten queues per initiating administrator are retained locally; old terminal queues are removed as new queues are added. Up to 20 Content Review reports and 20 answer-sampling reports are retained locally. Other authorized WordPress administrators can access site-level reports. No live Google/ChatGPT result or exact ranking is inferred from a provider sample.
Google detail reports and indexed-URL inspection use your own authorized property. Requests include the selected public page URL or exact search query and period. At most 50 result rows per page and 30 explicitly requested report snapshots are stored locally. A missing row is not zero traffic. Saved query groups hold up to ten groups of ten phrases. Disconnect and property changes clear the detail/report history associated with that connection.
Optional Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity tags require the site administrator to configure IDs and enable the integration, followed by explicit visitor analytics consent through a supported consent signal. GPC and DNT deny loading. Revocation disables ZEISMO-owned tags for subsequent collection; it cannot recall data already sent. This is a consent integration, not a consent banner or a guarantee of legal compliance. Tag providers receive normal browser/device/page information under their own terms. Google terms/privacy: https://policies.google.com/terms https://policies.google.com/privacy Microsoft Clarity terms/privacy: https://clarity.microsoft.com/terms https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement
Local journals and selected checkpoints contain previous SEO/configuration/content values. They exclude ZEISMO connection tokens, subscription state and Google credentials. A checkpoint is not a whole-site backup. Deactivation and uninstall retain SEO records; disconnect optional external accounts first and contact support about controlled data removal. Independent site backups may retain copies.

- Activate ZEISMO SEO, then open its setup wizard from the Plugins screen or ZEISMO SEO menu.
- Review your site type, identity and suggested settings. Connect a ZEISMO account only if you want optional AI services. Search Console uses your own Google account without a ZEISMO login.

- Review search appearance and sitemap settings. Keep development and staging sites non-indexable.
Before replacing another SEO plugin, take a backup, preview any supported migration and inspect sample posts. Keep only one plugin responsible for overlapping SEO output.
FAQ
-
Do I need an account or a paid plan?
-
Local features need no account or paid plan. Optional ZEISMO AI services require an account and may have usage limits or paid plans. Search Console needs only your own Google authorization, not a ZEISMO login or subscription. Free includes a limited monthly allowance for hosted title and description drafts. Paid plans provide larger allowances and additional online tools. Reaching a hosted allowance does not disable included local editing, audits or other local functionality.
-
Are local tools limited by a paid plan?
-
No. Local features in the WordPress.org edition are available without a paid plan. Hosted AI services have separate eligibility and usage allowances. Buying credits adds usage for eligible services; it does not change your plan.
-
Do I need my own AI API key?
-
No. Optional AI requests use ZEISMO’s server-side service. Review the External services section for data sent and the circumstances in which requests occur.
-
Will this guarantee higher rankings?
-
No. SEO tools can help you review metadata and technical settings, but rankings, indexing and rich results are decided by search engines. Scores and previews are guidance, not guaranteed outcomes.
-
Can I import from another SEO plugin?
-
The plugin supports reviewed imports of supported Yoast, Rank Math and AIOSEO metadata, plus ZEISMO settings and advanced-redirect JSON (exact paths and prefix/query rules). Preview and select each change. Unsupported template variables are skipped; existing handwritten values are preserved unless you explicitly select replacement. Original plugin data is not deleted. This is not a full migration of every competitor setting, nor an importer for arbitrary CSV formats.
-
Are IndexNow and Visitor pulse enabled automatically?
-
No. Both are disabled by default in the WordPress.org edition and require administrator opt-in. Their behavior is documented below under External services.
-
Where can I get help or request a feature?
-
Use the linked WordPress.org support forum and ZEISMO guide. Include versions and reproduction steps, never passwords, licence secrets or private customer data.
